Model APD is a commercial-grade plenum fan that delivers dependable performance in a cost-effective, lighter-duty design. Its compact direct drive configuration eliminates the belts, alignment requirements, and routine maintenance associated with traditional belt-driven plenum fans—reducing lifecycle cost and system complexity. When paired with a variable frequency drive (VFD), the APD can modulate airflow to accommodate changing system conditions, such as increased static pressure from loaded filters. Suitable for both single-fan installations and parallel fan array applications, the APD features a formed and bolted galvanized steel frame and a welded, coated steel seven-blade backward-curved wheel for durable, reliable operation.
