eCAPS® System Updates - 3.12
eCAPS® has been updated. Find out about the latest features and newest products to assist you in choosing the best product for your application.
- Dedicated Outdoor Air model RV, added new size 220
- Dedicated Outdoor Air models RV and RVC, nomenclature changed to match model RVE
- Energy recovery, added new model IVE, indoor with electric heating
- For models SQ, KSQ, and RSQ, expanded Vari-Green® (VG) motor offering to include 1/2 and 3/4 hp motor sizes
- For roof-mounted supply model KSQ, added size 12-M1, and for roof-mounted supply or exhaust model RSQ, added size 12-M1
- For blower fan model USF, added belt drive sizes 27 and larger with A2 and B6 wheel types
- Changed the Drive Loss default from Medium to Low for all fan groupings except Fume Exhaust
- Obsoleted the following inline fan models: QEID-FJ and BCF
- Changed the way fans with Vari-Green® Drives (-VGD) are selected (removed as separate VGD selection, but still available as a mounted VFD option in desktop CAPS®)
- Removed Grille/Register/Diffuser (GRD), Air Terminal Unit (ATU), and Healthcare/Laboratory/Cleanroom (HLC) product selection guides; they will only be available via the Metalaire trademark going forward
- For Gravity and Penthouse louver products, added the Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) certification
