Type I Single Island Style (V-Bank) Canopy Hoods Grease Exhaust Hood
Greenheck's single island style (V-bank) canopy hoods are used over cooking equipment producing heat and grease laden effluent (Type I Hood). The V-bank design promotes efficient capture and containment in single island cooking applications. Single island style canopy hoods are used over one row of cooking equipment placed where no walls exist. Single island hoods can be seen from all directions, therefore, have four finished (Stainless Steel) sides.

Exhaust Only - Single Wall
The exhaust only, single wall hood has no integral supply. The Supply air is introduced through ceiling diffusers or external supply plenums. The hood provides excellent capture and containment by equally drawing air from both sides of hood.
In a face-supply hood, the make-up air is supplied horizontally through the face via perforated panels in a manner that does not interfere with the cooking operations beneath the hood(s). The perforated panels are located on the face to ensure precise volume control and shall limit the throw to within several feet of the hood.
