Greenheck Breaks Groun on Addition to Frankfort, KY Manufacturing Facility
Greenheck Fan Corporation,
, manufacturing facility - the second addition since the plant opened in 1997. The added space will increase the plant capacity by over 30 percent and provides better access to strategic southeast markets. The plant currently produces dampers and louvers for commercial, industrial, and institutional air control applications.
"The added space will allow us to add additional fire damper manufacturing lines as well as louver extrusion storage for the architectural market, said Pete Dyhan, plant operations manager, "The added manufacturing space and equipment will result in additional capacity to handle our growing sales volume."
Presently the plant employs 157 employees, of which 147 work in production and skilled trades and 10 work in the office. The production and skilled trade's workers are represented by the Sheet Metal Workers International Association, Local No. 433.
