A:The recommended system requirements are:

Q: Can Product drawing images be saved to an AutoCad file?
A:
No, but you can have CAPS generate AutoCad DWG file from your saved selections. Highlight your job name in the left hand panel (Jobs area) and click the printer icon above the "Recent Jobs" list. A popup window will appear listing available reports. Select the "Drawings" option and CAPS will generate DWG for the saved selections for that job file.
Q: Are Revit drawings available in CAPS?
A:
Yes, However, you must have Revit® software installed to open the files. Highlight your job name in the left hand panel (Jobs area) and click the printer icon above the "Recent Jobs" list. A popup window will appear listing the available reports. Select the "Revit Drawing" option and CAPS will generate Revit® files for the saved selections for that job file.
Q: I have created a job and made a selection and would like to correct the elevation. CAPS will not allow me to edit the elevation field. Why?
A:The elevation field information is entered when you first create a job file. The elevation information is locked after the first selection is made and saved. The CAPS program retains this information because a change in elevation can cause the size you have previously selected to become invalid at a different altitude. To change the elevation you will need to start a new job file and enter in the elevation amount before starting the first product selection process.
Q: Where can I find unit and accessory weights?
A:Most product weights can be found in CAPS or on the printed submittal reports from CAPS. In CAPS, while on the Configuration tab, the weights may display at the very bottom of the window on the right-hand side. The weight that prints on the submittal report will also be the overall weight for the product and all accessories unless called out as an extra note on the submittal report as Fan Only.
Q: How do I email someone a fan curve?
A:
Click on the tab of the fan curve you want to email so the curve image is displayed on screen. While in that tab, click on the camera icon found in the left hand panel Jobs area. A popup menu with output options will display. Select PDF. CAPS will create a single page PDF file that you can save and/or email.
Q: Where can I find product specifications?
A:In CAPS, when you are looking at an individual model, locate the Specs tab below the product's picture. This tab contains the entire model specification. Most products have specs available in CAPS. Specifications are also listed on the Greenheck website within each Products area.
