Energy Star

Greenheck is proud to be an Energy Star Partner helping to increase the energy efficiency of our products while decreasing our energy footprint.

ENERGY STAR was started by the EPA in 1992 as a market-based partnership to reduce greenhouse gas emissions through energy efficiency. Today, the ENERGY STAR label can be found on more than 60 different kinds of products as well as new homes and commercial and industrial buildings that meet strict energy efficiency specifications set by EPA.

The ENERGY STAR label was established to:

Make it easier for consumers to identify and purchase energy-efficient products that offer savings on energy bills without sacrificing performance, features, and comfort.

Earning the ENERGY STAR label

For a ventilating fan to achieve ENERGY STAR approval it must meet strict energy efficient standards set by the US Environmental Protection Agency for energy consumption, air performance, and sounds performance.
