Static 1.5 Hour Rated Dampers

UL 555 Classified 1½ hour fire rating

Building codes require fire dampers to maintain the fire-resistance ratings of walls, partitions, barriers, and floors when penetrated by ducts or other transfer openings. Static-rated-fire dampers used in HVAC systems automatically shut down in the event of a fire emergency. These are UL classified to standard 555 with fire-resistance rating of 1½ hours.
