  Model AX

  The standard AX includes a long casing design that completely covers the propeller and motor. Characteristics of the housing include heavy gauge steel that is formed with state-of-the art tooling to keep blade tip clearances tight. All AX fan casings are coated with Permatector, an electrostatically applied powder paint. Another highlight of the AX is a new cast aluminum airfoil blade that provides total efficiencies in excess of 70% to help reduce upfront electrical expenses for new projects and will save building owners money on long-term energy bills. In addition, all blades are manually adjustable to allow for field air balancing.
  
  The AX is suitable for a wide number of ventilation applications in a broad range of industries. Typical applications include supply and return air fans for air handling equipment, emergency smoke and heat exhaust, stairwell pressurization, parking garage ventilation and general ventilation of commerical, institutional, and industrial facilities.

  AX with Vane Section

  The bolt on vane section provides an added boost to fan performance by straightening the air coming off of the fan discharge. Vane sections are an excellent option for higher pressure, ducted applications.
  

  AX with Upblast Roof Mount

  This design is suitable for roof mounted ventilation applications. Included are a curb cap, butterfly damper section, and outer windband. Greenheck also offers heavy-duty roof curbs for all sizes of the AX.
  

  AX with Short Casing

  The short casing design is unique because the motor sticks outside of the fan casing. This design is excellent for horizontal or vertical plate mounting applications where space is limited.
