Isolation dampers are very low leakage and provide tight shutoff within an HVAC or process control systems. A bubble-tight damper is heavy-duty, designed to meet the requirement for zero leakage. Every damper receives factory testing for leakage to ensure a bubble-tight seal at 10 in. wg (2.5kPa) or 30 in. wg (7.5 kPa). Recommended applications for this damper are those with a two-position shut-off including:
