Dwight E. Davis to Become President and Chief Executive Officer of Greenheck Fan Corporation
Robert C. Greenheck, President and COO of Greenheck Fan Corporation announced that Dwight E. Davis will become the Greenheck President and Chief Executive Officer beginning January 1, 2001.
Greenheck states: "We are extremely pleased that Dwight, a long-time member of the company's Board of Directors, has agreed to take over leadership of Greenheck."
"His familiarity with the company, his character, and his 30 plus years of diverse leadership experience will propel Greenheck toward our vision as the global leader in air moving and control equipment."
A leadership transition will occur early next year as Davis assumes his role while continuing as a company director. Bernard A. Greenheck, currently Chairman of the Board, and Robert Greenheck, currently President and COO, will become Co-Chairman of the Board.
Another key member of the Greenheck management team, Don Grade, Senior Vice President, will remain with the company until the spring of 2001. Grade will continue as a member of the Board of Directors.
All three officers will work closely with Davis and the management team to assure a smooth leadership transition.

Dwight Davis retired in July 2000, after a 15-year career with Wausau Insurance Companies and the insurer's parent company, Boston-based Liberty Mutual Group. He held various senior executive positions with Wausau, ending his career as the company's President and COO and as an Executive Vice-President of Liberty Mutual.
Previously, Davis had a nineteen-year career as a community college executive in Illinois and Wisconsin. From 1977 to 1985 he was President of Northcentral Technical College headquartered in Wausau, WI.
Throughout his career Davis has been active in civic and professional leadership roles. Currently he serves as a director of Wausau Insurance Companies; Wausau Benefits, Inc.; Wausau Homes, Inc.; M&I First American Bank; and numerous civic boards. He is also a director of the Wisconsin Manufacturers and Commerce Association.
A native of Plymouth, WI, Davis holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin-Stout, a master's degree from Michigan State University, and doctorate from the University of Illinois.
Greenheck manufactures commercial and industrial air moving and control equipment. Primary markets are in the United States, Canada, Mexico and Latin America, the Middle East, and the Pacific Rim.
The company has annual sales of over $200 million, approximately 1,400 employees, and over 1,000,000 square feet of manufacturing facilities in Schofield, WI; Frankfort, KY; and Sacramento, CA.
Greenheck was founded in 1947 in Schofield, WI by Bernie and Robert Greenheck.
