Stroyny Joins Greenheck Executive Leadership
Gary M. Stroyny will join Greenheck as Chief Operating Officer of a new organizational unit to be called the Fan, Ventilator and Air Control Products Division. This new structure will help the company accelerate strategic growth in its Fan and Ventilator, Centrifugal and Vane Axial Fan, and Damper/Louver business units.
Stroyny has been a member of Greenheck’s Board of Directors for two years and will continue in that capacity. He recently retired after a 25-year career with U.S. Filter Corporation, most recently as General Manager of the Rothschild (WI) and Whittier (CA) divisions. He held a variety of management and executive positions with U.S. Filter, including chief financial officer for a $450 million global division, and has gained valuable knowledge of strategic planning, marketing, international sales, new product introduction strategies, and acquisitions.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and business administration from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Greenheck’s sales more than doubled during the 1990s to more than $200 million annually, and have continued to grow despite the recent economic slump. The company’s vision is to become the global leader in its industry by pursuing profitable growth opportunities such as acquisitions, strategic alliances and other initiatives to open new markets and/or offer new product capabilities.
