Greenheck CAPS 4.8 Release – Important Information

Dear CAPS Application User,

Greenheck CAPS 4.8 Release Requires Microsoft .NET 4.0 Framework Upgrade

CAPS 4.8 will be updated from version 4.6 in late January, 2012 and will include many new products and features. However, to update to CAPS 4.8 you must install Microsoft .NET Framework 4 on each computer workstation if it is not already present. Testing has shown it will take approximately 10 minutes to install Microsoft .NET Framework 4.

Following are the technical specs for Microsoft .NET Framework 4.

• The .NET Framework 4 standalone installer is 48.1 MB and supports 32 and 64-bit operating systems.
• The .NET Framework 4 requires that on Windows XP computers, SP3 is installed.
• The .NET Framework 4 requires that on Windows Vista computers, SP1 is installed.
• The .NET Framework 4 requires a minimum of 850 MB of free space for 32-bit operating systems, and 2 GB on 64-bit operating systems.

Note: The CAPS update process will include the download of .NET Framework 4 if you do not have it installed on your computer. However, the installation of the .Net Framework 4 will add an additional 10 minutes to the overall download time.
