Test Engineer Co-op Position

General Responsibilities

Assist in increasing the capabilities of the test and evaluation process to improve the quality of product designs and increase product reliability. Assist in the development and implementation of procedures and systems needed to maintain and analyze our product quality. Complete projects as assigned.

25% daily support
75% projects

Co-op terms run from January to September or from May to January.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Participate with design engineers in determining test methods and techniques.
• Documentation of test methods.
• Documentation of test results.
• Development and construction of test fixtures/systems.
• Initiate test procedures.
• Programming of data acquisition systems.
• Programming/analysis of engineering databases.
• Perform tests and other tasks to support customer requests.

Possible Projects

• Development of Engineering Test Procedure Manual.
• Documentation of present test systems.
• Assist with Underwriters Laboratories qualification of products.
• Assist with testing/development of new air control products.
• Miscellaneous production support as required.
